A large Welsh College required data protection solution which also delivered immutability for their physical and virtual systems. The solution need to include data protection for HyperV, Linux virtual and physical servers + NSS presented storage
Solution
Open3Systems implemented Arcserve UDP with enterprise deduplication for their Hyper-V and Linux estate while providing protection for the NSS stored data using Arcserve Backup. All data was backed up locally and then staged to immutable storage for secure long-term recovery. Ongoing remote support was also provided to ensure the integrity of the customer’s data protection solution.
